Seabury APG Adds New Vice President; Announces Promotion

AYSONS CORNER, Va. – April 3, 2008 – Seabury APG, an industry leader in aviation advisory services, today announced that it has added a new Vice President to its consulting practice and promoted a Senior Associate to Vice President.  Damon Hylton, who has more than 15 years of management experience in the aviation and other transportation sectors, with a particular expertise in airline planning data sources, tools and forecasting methodologies, joined the firm as a Vice President.  He was Senior Director of Market Planning and Sales Distribution at Hawaiian Airlines from 2000-2006 and managed a large portion of the carrier’s commercial activities.  At Continental Airlines he held senior positions in Revenue Management, Finance and Route Planning from 1993-2000.   Immediately prior to joining Seabury APG, Mr. Hylton was Director of Marketing for Hawaii Superferry, where he played a significant role in launching the company, including developing and leading its advertising, promotions, brand management, e-commerce, frequent traveler program, pricing and revenue optimization.  He has BBA and MBA degrees from The University of Texas at Austin.

Seabury APG also promoted James Garzia to Vice President.  Mr. Garzia joined the firm in 2006 after a six-year tenure with US Airways, where as Manager of Network Planning he was responsible for creating and implementing the carrier’s route development strategy.  The analytical work performed by Mr. Garzia was instrumental in helping guide the carrier through its transformation into a low-cost carrier, which culminated in its merger with America West Airlines.  Since joining Seabury APG, Mr. Garzia has been involved in a number of due diligence, network forecasting, and fleet-planning assignments for carriers in the United States and overseas.  Mr. Garzia has a B.A. degree from Le Moyne College and an M.A. degree from Binghamton University (SUNY).

“We are very excited about these staffing moves, said Stephen Still, Seabury APG Managing Director.   “Damon is a perfect fit for our clients because he is so well-rounded with his planning, pricing and marketing experience.  Jamie has demonstrated his expertise with leadership roles in important, complex airline projects for our clients.”
