The International Aviation Womens Association (IAWA) announces its 20th Anniversary Conference “Walk the Miracle Mile: Celebrate IAWA’s 20th Anniversary and the Accomplishments of Women in the Aviation and Aerospace Industries”, to be held at the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago, Illinois on October 22-24, 2008. The International Aviation Womens Association (IAWA) announces its 20th Anniversary Conference to be held at the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago, Illinois on October 22-24, 2008.  The Conference is titled “Walk the Miracle Mile: Celebrate IAWA’s 20th Anniversary and the Accomplishments of Women in the Aviation and Aerospace Industries.”

Colleen C. Barrett, President and Corporate Secretary of Southwest Airlines Co., will be the keynote speaker for IAWA’s 20th Anniversary Conference dinner, which will take place on Wednesday October 22, 2008.  Ms. Barrett exemplifies women of achievement and is a trailblazer in the aviation industry. She is the recipient of numerous business awards and honors and has successfully guided Southwest Airlines for many years.
