ArlandaAirport ranks amongst Europe’s top three in on-time performance - combining superb catchment, capacity and regional connections with the lowest airport charges in Europe. The standard of infrastructure is of a consistently high standard, which makes Stockholm-Arlanda not just an economic choice but a reliable and enjoyable point of entry to the region.
As air traffic over Europe continues to intensify, the capacity for growth is an important strength at Stockholm-Arlanda. Clearly two factors will always be crucial to the future potential of any airport: the availability of slots and the availability of land for on-going expansion. Stockholm-ArlandaAirport has both.
As Scandinavia’s premier airport, Stockholm-ArlandaAirport today has the capacity to serve 25 million passengers. During 2002, the airport handled 16 million passengers and 246,000 take-offs and landings. Importantly, the airport is connected to all significant airport points in Sweden and Scandinavia.
