CHICAGO, May 02, 2008 — Boeing [NYSE: BA] has announced that Federico Genoese-Zerbi, 43, has been named vice president - IT Business Partners, reporting to Boeing Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer John Hinshaw. Genoese-Zerbi will be responsible for all information technology support to Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Boeing Capital Corporation. "Federico’s impressive background and proven track record of delivering great results makes him well suited for this key position," Hinshaw said.
Genoese-Zerbi has over 20 year of IT experience with a background in development, operations and regulatory relations. Previous positions include business information officer and IT risk officer for Capital One Bank Europe, IT vice president for Global Financial Services and vice president of European Data Systems for Capital One Financial Corporation.
Genoese-Zerbi holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a juris doctorate from the New England School of Law.
