At 01:00 on Friday 12 September, Manchester Airport was advised that XL Leisure Group and its subsidiaries have been placed into administration. XL Leisure Group operates flights from Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2 under the XL Airways (XL.com) brand. The Company was due to operate seven departing flights from Manchester Airport today with four flights due to arrive.

• XLA254 at 07:50 to Skiathos
• XLA252 at 07:55 to Tenerife
• XLA1134 at 13:30 to Sanford (Florida)
• XLA276 at 19:00 to Dalaman (Turkey)
• XLA210 at 19:15 to Heraklion

Arriving XL Airways (XL.com) flights

• XLA1133 at 09:35 from Sanford (Florida)
• XLA251 at 15:25 from Mikonos
• XLA253 at 17:45 from Tenerife
• XLA255 at 18:05 from Skiathos

Unfortunately, all XL Leisure Group customers who have not yet travelled are being advised to make alternative arrangements.

A helpline for passengers who have booked holidays or flights with XL Leisure Group and its subsidiaries has been set up by the administrators, Kroll. UK customers are advised to call 0800 068 8991 and overseas customers should call +44 020 8242 4783       .

The Civil Aviation Authority has also published information about XL Leisure Group on www.atol.org.uk and has also established an emergency helpline - +44 208 242 4783 – for their customers who are in particular distress.
