U-Turn anounces: 5 Hungarian records in 4 days with U2 and AIR FORCE

Villingen-Schwenningen. U-Turn Team Pilot Pál Takáts flown 5 new Hungarian National XC Records in Switzerland! Last winter Pal moved to Interlaken, Switzerland, and after discovering the area´s cross county potentials he just waited for the spring to come. In the beginning of may during a long period of sunny weather he managed to fly 2 new records on U2 tandem together with his girlfriend and 3 more solo records flying U-Turn´s competition wing, the AIR FORCE. The records have been accepted and validated by the Hungarian Free Flying Association, see the details below.

Unfortunately at the end of the month Pal suffered an accident and he broke his left ankle by a hard landing. More then 6 weeks after his healing process is very fast, however he should stay on the ground for several more weeks. So he cannot compete on the Acro World Cups this year, but sure he is very motivated to get back in the air as soon as possible. We can see him flying again together with his partner Gábor Kézi over the city of Geneva on the 10th of August (Fete du Geneve) and soon after in Budapest during the RedBull Air Race on the 20th.
